THINK TODAY products are manufactured reusing usable surplus material from various industries and commercializing them for new uses.
All materials used in our products are high quality, tested and extremely durable. The materials that are used are always different, so the shades, strengths, structures and patterns of the products vary and that makes the products aesthetic and individual.
Our products are designed and locally manufactured in Finland. Our skilled professionals guarantee the high quality of the products and our extensive material procurement network guarantees us lots of materials to reuse from our partner companies. This way we can reduce the amount of usable material that ends up in landfills and waste incineration, and also extend its life cycle, even by decades.
We utilize the latest industrial work methods, equipment and machines. Our products often involve various skilled craft stages. Our informative and beautiful packaging is also manufactured in Finland. Here is a story about our materials.
CERAMIC TILE
Ceramic tile is a very versatile material that can handle both cold and hot, which is why it is an excellent material for pan trays, glass trays and coolers. The material is weatherproof and also suitable for outdoor use. The tile has attributes similar to natural stone. It is an easy material to keep clean.
LAMINATE
Very light material and very versatile in various interior design products. Different wood patterns, easy to clean and diverse shades give the products a beautiful individual touch. Adhesive-bound wood flour, combined with plastic is not the most easily degradable material in nature. We must therefore look for another use for it.
ACRYLE
We use plastic materials of different strengths in our products. Acryle works well in jewelry, is easy to work with and personalize, and is very light. Significant amounts of it are left over in industrial production.
ALUMINUM COMPOSITE
Hard and durable metal surface material. Due to its easy cleanability, it is suitable, for example, as a dog bowl stand surface.
PLASTIC CARPET
The material bends and withstands well both washing and heavy wear which makes it an excellent material for dog cup mats and bags, as well as keychains. Shades and patterns range from a subdued wood pattern to large prints and bright colors.
TRADE FAIR MAT
We recycle used, intact and clean trade fair carpets that have already been used once. Due to its durability, the trade fair mat is suitable as a material for storage products, bags and sacks.
WALLPAPER
We utilize fiber wallpapers in many ways, such as in glass substrates combined with laminate. Wallpaper model books as well as misprinted and broken rolls now have a new purpose.
REFLECTOR SURPLUS
In the manufacture of reflectors, cuttings are always generated. However, it is still possible to make new pieces from the pieces as reflectors, but in limited forms.
MAP MATERIAL
With the transition to electronic map systems, paper maps remained a surplus material in 2013. However, the map of sheets makes it possible to make new products by combining different materials, thus creating suitcase tags, passport covers, reflectors and keychains, as well as interior design products.
ADVERTISING AND MARKETING MATERIAL
Significant quantities of material end up in the retail sector for direct disposal due to its short service life. We are able to re-commercialize advertising banners, roll up material, flags, pennants, tents and more.
TEXTILES
We recycle furniture fabrics, curtains and other textile materials into pet toys, storage products, bags and decorative pillows. The high quality fabric material is very durable.
LEATHER
The leather we use is a high quality surplus of car industry upholstery materials, this material is easy to work with and use. From leather, we produce accessories and bags as well as details for our interior design products.
WOOD
Material familiar to Finns, because we have a lot of it and it is ecological and easy to dispose of. It also puts very little strain on the environment, so we use it in our products. Birch veneer, plywood and other various forms of wood serve our product development and are part of our products.
